We currently have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Five portable equipment systems, each consisting of a <strong>perlite expansion furnace<\/strong> and a <strong>bag filter<\/strong>, which allows for <strong>expanding<\/strong> of the material <strong><em>in situ<\/em><\/strong> and its subsequent installation anywhere in the world.<\/li><li><strong>Two complete sets of equipment<\/strong>&nbsp;systems for the expanded perlite installation in&nbsp;<strong>LNG tanks<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>A complete set<\/strong> of equipment system to undertake the <strong>expanded&nbsp;perlite insulation<\/strong> of <strong>LNG tanks<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:83px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>OUR SERVICES<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_accordion shape=&#8221;square&#8221; color=&#8221;chino&#8221; active_section=&#8221;1&#8243;][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF CRYOGENIC PERLITE IN LNG TANKS&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1470128120188-02c9e337-0296&#8243;][vc_column_text]The insulation of LNG tanks with expanded perlite is a unique and specific job.<\/p>\n<p>To carry out projects of this magnitude, the <strong>expansion of the mineral<\/strong> must be performed <strong>on site<\/strong> and installation inside the tank must be executed at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the large volume and dimensions of the facilities, the expanded mineral that is inserted into the tank must be <strong>compacted<\/strong> in layers to <strong>minimise the<\/strong> <strong>settlements and gaps caused<\/strong> by the nature of expanded perlite.<\/p>\n<p>2002 Perlindustria has extensive experience of conducting these types of unique projects that are always subject to many external factors.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;PERLITE WORKS IN LNG TANKS &#8221; tab_id=&#8221;1470128041153-874d07e3-b4fa&#8221;][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]Cryogenic tanks are double-walled tanks with the space between the walls filled with expanded perlite as an insulation material. During the construction of these tanks, the perlite is expanded in situ using a mobile containerised furnace. Perlite is then installed inside the tank using a pneumatic pumping system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Over the life of the tank<\/strong>, the perlite inside tends to <strong>self-compact<\/strong> causing a decline in the level of perlite in the annular gap, which results in the <strong>appearance<\/strong> <strong>of cold spots<\/strong> on the exterior surface of the tank.<\/p>\n<p>2002 Perlindustria has the expertise and equipment required to inject perlite into the tank in an <strong>explosive atmosphere<\/strong>. This way the original levels are restored and cold spots are eliminated. Natural gas tanks must be topped up using sealed and pressurised injections of perlite that are achieved using <strong>pressurised nitrogen<\/strong> while maintaining <strong>the normal working conditions<\/strong> of the tanks.
